Things have leveled off since the last review and we have overcome the technical difficulties we had, but they left a dent in our plan to post tips with the 1 a day frequency. We are still working out kinks in our mailing list and have a couple of ideas on how to improve our pick selection. The main thing in this review is that we recorded a minute loss over the last 50 picks which leveled our ROI % to a more reasonable point. Important goals are still the same and we will be looking to reach all of them by the next review.

Here is the summary of our work after 150 posted picks:

  • Average odds:      2.05
  • Winrate:                 55.33%
  • Total staked:         1196
  • Total Returned:     1366.4
  • ROI:                        14.25%
  • Profit:                     170.4

Having a win rate over 55%
Having average odds slightly better than 2.0
Having ROI % run over 10%,
Post picks with regular frequency, minimum 5 a week
Objective focus on value/general public
Fine tune stake size system to minimize risk and maximize profit

Fine tune publishing system so that picks get to bettors in a timely fashion
Set up a regular weekly preview blog
Sort out and automatize posting process

Couple of goals still left for us to reach and we are working on a couple of new ones. Let us know in the Contact Us section page if there is something You would like us to work on.

This is an interesting matchup between these two competitors where the current form tilts to the one side, but the history of their matchups tilts to the other. A healthy balance can be found in the fact that this is the start of the season and history is really more important than the current form. And mental strength is a huge factor here as well. Bookmakers have the same logic as they favored heavily Azarenka over Vinci. What I think the best course to take when approaching this match is consideration of the implied odds coupled with the official ranking. I think this match will get really competitive, especially in the first set and we could easily see the match going over 19.5 games. Medium stake for this one. Good Luck.

The match between Victoria Azarenka and Roberta Vinci will end with over 19.50 games in full event at odds 1.87

At the start of the new season, Roger will be looking to repeat last year's success, playing a couple of Grand Slam finals and winning a couple of masters. Brisbane is where he starts his campaign but the first opponent is somewhat of a challenge. Tobias Kamke is ranked 277 but I expect him to finish the year in at least top 150. He has been looking good in the 3 matches he already played in Brisbane and he will me going for broke in this match. Federer played an exhibition comp 3 weeks ago and looked like he is not really on top of his game. An excellent price is given for over 9.5 games in the first set and I am willing to take it for a small stake. Good Luck.

The match between Roger Federer and Tobias Kamke will end with over 9.50 games in 1st set at odds 2.50

With Blake Griffin out for at least another week, Clippers need to find a replacement for his 20+ points a game. They can make do with a good defense but I don't think there is enough discipline in the roster they currently have. What is, even more, interesting for this match is the fact that Portland is really benefiting this season from playing without the pressure and they are really doing surprisingly well. I like the over here because these teams will not go for a better defensive play, but rather score more than the opponent type of game and I can easily this game being a run and gun one. Smaller stake for this one. Good Luck.

The match between Portland Trail Blazers and L. A. Clippers will end with over 204.50 points in full event at odds 1.84

As the faith would have it, Chelsea continues to run really bad in the draws for the knockout stage of the Champions League. As far as the tough opponents go, PSG is at the top of the list and there is no team that likes to play them. They are run by a wealthy couple of individuals and they have the best roster money could buy in the last couple of years. That being said, other than the League 1, they haven't had much success in other competitions. Chelsea, on the other hand, has almost lost the footing in the Premier League and they have to salvage the season by playing an amazing knockout campaign in the Champions League. They will focus on this game as it is one of the most important games this season. I can easily see them playing an open game and scoring a couple, as well as conceding a couple. So, both teams to score looks like a really good value bet for me and expect odds to drop as the game draws near.

Both teams to score in ordinary time - yes at odds 2.32

Sacramento has been the laughing stock last couple of years as they fail to reach the playoffs but don't commit to the rebuild as well. So they were losing games a lot. New coach new volatile roster and one true superstar that is clashing with the new coach on personal level guarantees an entertaining show every time. Add to the mix the always entertaining Dallas and this might be a really interesting game. But amidst all of that hype I really like the way Kings have played recently I expect them to continue in the same fashion. And they have a bit more athletic and talented roster comparing to the aging one on the Mavs side. Could be a chance for a risky bet on taking the Kings money line, but definitively value taking them with 7.5 spread. Medium stake for this one. Good Luck.

Sacramento Kings Asian Handicap +7.50 in full event at odds 1.85

It is year three of Sixers plan to rebuild by constantly tanking and losing games on purpose that is one of the most embracing things currently allowed in the NBA. They are night in and night out playing like a lower division team and that has its merits in some ways. This game is a perfect example where the bookmakers post odds that are not in tune with reality. Asian -4.5 line on Timberwolves is a gift that is not to be missed and it will surely be corrected as the game draws near. Be quick and take advantage of this in my earnest opinion huge mistake by the bookmakers. Medium stake for this one. Good Luck.

Chelsea has been doing quite OK since Mourinho got sacked but still they have to up their game in order to catch up with the top of the table. Games like this one are the key to winning Premier League championships and 3 points are an absolute priority today. There is no doubt in my mind that Chelsea squad is motivated, especially after a good showing against United, where they were closer to win than the opponent. I knew that the bookmakers are underestimating Chelsea and they are starting to correct their initial odds that were pure value. I was late to start the day off but even with these odds there is value for a medium stake on an away win. Good Luck.

Chelsea to win against Crystal Palace in ordinary time at odds 2.20
