Phoenix Suns vs Houston Rockets

After appearing in the Western Conference Finals a season ago, the Rockets have been rather mediocre this season. On Tuesday night, the Rockets played without C Dwight Howard (suspension) and still came away with an 115-102 home victory over Miami. The Phoenix Suns have been a disaster this season and management decided to relieve head coach Jeff Hornacek of his duties after just two and a half years with the club. The news got worse for Phoenix when they learned that F T.J. Warren will miss the remainder of the season with a foot injury. On Tuesday night, Kobe Bryant exploded for a season-high 38 points during an 119-115 home win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Toronto Raptors are the darlings of the Eastern Conference. The Raptors are heading to Portland tonight to square off against the hometown Trail Blazer. For as good as Portland has been at home, Toronto has been just as good on the road. This is the matchup of teams on different trajectories. Portland loves to push the ball on offense and lets their athletic backcourt take care of most of the business. With Toronto's improved defense in the way, this could be hard for Portland.

Dallas Mavericks vs Miami Heat

The Heat have won four of their past five games and they owe it to the amazing form of Dwyane Wade. He has been turning in highlight plays by the handful over the past month. But the loss of starting center Hassan Whiteside, a force on defense and a top rebounder, could be a big deal in this game. Dallas has won two of their past three thanks to Chandler Parsons and a resurgent Dirk Nowitzki. Parsons has evolved into the important scorer many pegged him as and he'll be given the tough task of scoring on hard defender Luol Deng. The Celtics are currently in fourth place in the East and trail the conference-leading Cleveland Cavaliers by 8.5 games. Detroit has started the season really well, but they have fallen off since and are now rapidly losing chances against other teams from the East for a playoff race. Detroit G Jodie Meeks (foot) has been shut down until at least March 1st by head coach Stan Van Gundy. The Pistons and Celtics rank near the middle of the pack in offensive efficiency. Earlier this season, George was getting a fair amount of time in the post but now Myles Turner has been playing really well and George has been forced to adjust. Luckily for him, he’ll be matched up with Joe Johnson who has the worst defensive rating on the Nets. It should be a bounce back game for George and i expect him to do well tonight. And when he does well, Indiana is winning. The terrible season for the Nets continues tonight as the prolific offense of Pacers will dismantle their poor defense. After the defeat against Bastia, Lyon is really under pressure and in a dire need of a victory. They collected only five points in last ten Ligue 1 games, so the victory is all they aim for tonight’s game. Bordeaux, however, remains quite dangerous in attack despite few players missing. They got a plan on their own. Defeat the direct opponent for one of the Europen spots and they are only a couple of points behind the top 5 pack. They will not settle for a drawish game and if they see a chance of winning, I am sure they will press for it. An open game is what I expect and both to score seems reasonable. Nantes has been playing much better this season comparing to the last one and they can even indulge some European cups aspirations. they hold a solid 10th place and are 9 points above the relegation zone which is the primary goal for this season. But they can secure a way safer spot if they win today against a team that is struggling lately. Ajaccio has only one win in the last 5 games and they are on the decline of form. I would usually stay clear of this game but the odds are pulling me towards placing a small bet on the home side win. It's just value that cannot be ignored. Good Luck.

The Rockets are fallen off a bit this year, comparing to the last one. They price for that played the coach that was sacked a couple of weeks back it for some reason, the Rockets are still not in the top 3 teams in the West. They host Miami tonight and will be looking to snap their 4 game winning streak. They Rockets have lost 3 in a row. The last one being at home to rather a mediocre team, Washington, they should feel a bit embarrassed. So I expect everyone tonight to be on their a game. Toronto Raptors will be on the road to face the Phoenix Suns. This will be the second of a back-to-back on the road for the Raptors, who were annihilated in Denver on Monday night. Prior to that loss, Toronto had won 11 games in a row and moved to within three games of the Eastern Conference top spot. The Suns have won just 14 games this season and that performance cost head coach Jeff Hornacek his job on Monday. Hornacek was relieved of his duties by the team and was replaced on an interim basis by Earl Watson. What I would really like to pick is Toronto to score over a 100 but I will settle with an Asian line here for a small stake. Good Luck.

New York Knicks vs Boston Celtics

The Knicks seem to have struck gold with Porzingis this year and they are looking wat better than last year. There is even a slight chance they make it to the playoffs this season, but that would be the extent of it. Boston on the other hand is in the rebuild process while playing amazing basketball and getting to the playoffs. This year as East dropped further in quality comparing to the West, they have a chance to get back to playoffs and maybe even win a couple of games... who knows. Tonight they do get my voice as they are better team atm and I will stake a medium amount on them

Arsenal has started the season well and has maintained their form so far. However, they have now slipped from top to third in a short space of time. Arsenal is known for flopping at this time of the season. They have a tough run in the next few weeks and this will make or break their chances for a title. Very tough game for them as they lost to Chelsea last week with the red card to boost. But that can be a great motivation as well. Anyhow, i really do expect Southampton to perform on their best level so the game will be a world class one. I slightly tip to home side here nad odds are just there for me to stake a smaller amount. This is a very interesting duel. Both of these are somewhat a disappointment this year. Where everyone expected to lift their game to another level, both Memphis and New Orleans have fallen off in the first half of the season. But anything can change over the course of 40 games and it looks like the Pelicans realized just that. They have been looking better since Evans came back and are starting to put up some strong offensive performances. With the Memphis lacking their recognizable grit and grind defense this year, they had no other choice that to rely on offense more as well. So this game has a good chance to go over te 201.5 mark and I am willing to back that outcome with a smaller stake. Good Luck.

The Wizards are looking a lot weaker and far less cohesive than the last year. Taking into account all the injuries and departures they had, that is somewhat reasonable. But what is a problem here is that overall, Eastern conference has become even weaker this year comparing to the last and for the Wizards in that surrounding to struggle is a sign of things not going according to plan. The Thunder is slowly but surely getting into the playoff form and they have won 16 out of last 20 games. They are a bit underestimated on the super packed Western Conference, but that will soon change as they rise in the standings and especially as the playoffs draw near. They are a better team than Wizards and I believe that the margin definitely in double digits, so this is a value bet for me and I will back it up with a medium stake. Good Luck.

Oklahoma City Thunder Asian Handicap -8.50 in full event at odds 1.76

Toronto raptors are on the top of their game the last couple of weeks and they are in the playoff form. In the midst of an 11 game winning streak they visit the always entertaining Nuggets. Toronto is currently the best team after the Cavaliers in the East and I expect to see them take that step further in this year's playoffs. The Nuggets, on the other hand, are stuck between the rebuild and playoff aspirations and out of all that they are playing just an entertaining basketball. It almost feels as the winner is not what is it all about in their games. They can score but can't defend. Against a team like the Raptors, there will be sparks flying on the offense and a little to none on the defensive end. I really think this game is about 10 points short of what would be a realistic o/u line so I would gladly stake a medium amount on this game. Good Luck.

Chicago played a good game last night against the Clippers and they put up a solid effort, but there was just no way to combat the scorching hot 3 point shooting from everyone on the Clippers roster. 54 % 3 point shooting with 17 made shots is something no team can compete with, aside maybe the Warriors. Chicago will visit the Jazz on a back to back I got the fill that they will be on point tonight. I have the feeling that the bookmakers are underestimating the Bulls here and am more than willing to back them up with 6 points to spare. Medium stake for this one. Good Luck.

Both of these teams are 5/5 in the last 10 games and this is a game where anything can happen. Sacramento has lost 4 in a row and they are somewhat in the dire situation of needing a victory tonight. If they were to pick the opponent, Milwaukee would probably not be their first choice, but it's not bad for them either. They play good basketball and have a good athletic team and a true superstar in the making in the likes of Cousins, but that is not nearly enough in today's NBA. They lack so much on the defensive end that the whole point of their game is to outscore the opponent. That will be a somewhat of an easier task tonight against the Bucks and they should get a win tonight. For safer bet go with money line, but for a smaller stake I will back -3.5 on the Kings.
