The new Bundesliga season starts in less than a month and this will be the 54th edition of the competition. Former champions VfB Stuttgart are no longer in the top 18 teams in Germany. And after 14 straight years in the Bundesliga, Hannover was relegated at the end season. SC Freiburg and RB Leipzig will take their places, with the second one playing in this competition for the first time ever.

Last year's title holders Bayern Munich will face a tougher competition this year, at least on paper. Dortmund shelled out a lof of money and brought back a key player, they signed Schurrle, Dembele, and Raphael Guerreiro.

Bayern prepared well and brought Mats Hummels from Dortmund for $38 mill. Another $35 mill was spent on Renato Sanches and these to will have to make up for the departure of Mario Gotze who went back to Dortmund. Bayern Munich is favorite to win the double crown again and their squad is estimated to be worth around $582 mill.

Bayer Leverkusen spent a lot of money as well. Kevin Volland transfer set them back around $20 mill and Julian Baumpartilinger will also prove to be a good addition to the team.

Borussia M’gladbach wants to challenge for the title again and they had a cool $45 mil to spend, courtesy of Xhaka transfer to Arsenal. They spent a good chunk of it on Christoph Kramer and Jannik Vestergaard.

Bookmakers are overwhelmingly confident that Bayern will defend the title this year. Exploring the odds, we found that general betting public will have a lot of reasons to cover their favorite team on the outright market. The odds are quite good for every team other than the champions. Take a look at the odds for the upcoming season.

The new season starts on August 26th with the champion taking on Werder Bremen. But right from the start the amazing duel of Borussia M'gladbach and Bayer Leverkusen on 27th will definitely be a match worth betting on. We are super excited for the new season of Bundesliga and hopefully, it will be as profitable for us as the last one.
